This week was a great week! We were very busy and saw a lot of success in our area. I think it was because of having exchanges in our area with Beaver Creek and Bellfountaine! I am really loving leading exchanges! It is so much fun being able to get to know the sisters we are over and helping them and learning from them! I am so grateful for the chance that I have to be a sister Training leader! It really is a lot of fun! I am learning so much and pushing myself even harder to be the example that I need to be! It is really helping me grow! Sister Jensen is really amazing! She really knows how to be productive and always be finding! I have learned so much from her and how to use the lists and every resource that we have to find new investigators! It's been amazing to see as we have been using those resources we have been blessed by finding a lot more solid people!
So as leadership we have what's called mission leadership counsel every month at the mission home, we get together as zone leaders and sister training leaders and get trained on what we need to do at zone meeting the next day, we also get to help decide what we need to focus on as a mission, set goals, and do all that leadership stuff...so it's so much fun! it's so fun to be around so many awesome missionaries and pres. and Sis. Nilsen! It's awesome! then Sis. Nilsen cooks her yummy food and we have a great lunch and get to know each other it's so great! I really do just love everything about life right now! except the lack of sleep thing! I got sick for a couple of days because I wasn't getting enough sleep! But it was just a cold so I am pretty much over that now thank goodness! : )anyways so we went to take a picture with the whole counsel And a bunch of the Zone Leaders jumped on the table to get taller because most of them are super short and right after the picture was taken we hear a crazy and elders go flying! The table broke and the chair that was under the table broke as well! It was so funny! Presidents face was so funny! He just stood their looking forward with his eyes closed and said is anyone hurt...is anyone hurt...no pres. everything's fine! it was soooooo funny! : ) so there's one of the pictures! It is awesome to be there when that stuff happens!Unfortunately our ward cancelled church this Sunday. We were really bummed because we had 2 people lined up and locked in to be there. We are going to work so hard and pray harder to get them to come this week! We have quite a few potentials for people to come this week! We are so excited at the success we are seeing from this focus on church! :)
So yesterday we were able to teach Stephanie and Christopher for the first time and they are really awesome! Stephanie is a former investigator who had a crappy boyfriend and so she couldn't get baptized because he was stupid, now she has a new one that is totally interested in the church too! so we taught them yesterday it was such a great lesson and they are coming to church on Sunday! : )We have another lesson with them on Friday! We were asked by the zone leaders to come up with a motivational voice mail and send it out to the whole zone since we are supposed to be equally yolked to them now, so we decided to get creative and come up with a rap! It just so happens that we had dinner with a rapper on Thursday so we called him up and asked if he could help us out with it, so he did and it was awesome! I'll tell you more about it in my letter I will write today! and I would send it but It's too big. :( anyways this week we have three exchanges set up! it's going to be really busy but it's going to be great! I love this work sooo much! never before have I loved it this much! Springfield is where it's at! I love it a lot! : )
I love you lots! and hope you have a great week! : )
