We have an investigator Mike Smith, he's been investigating for about a year, and he is trying to quit smoking, he's on date for the 13th of July. The day after everything happened we had a lesson with him, and he was frustrated and down on himself, and he had just bought nicorette to try to help him stop smoking, we talked to him about faith and tithing and how that maybe if he starts to pay his tithing he might have an easier time smoking, he had everything written out on paper where all of his money was going and there was no money to go anywhere else because he had bought the nicorette, So me, Sis. Pollock and the member we had with us shared our experiences with him about tithing and it working in our lives, and I asked him "Mike, why don't you think that it can work for us but not for you?" he said "it's always been this way, it's always going to be this way. I have had no luck financially keeping my money together, and that's just how it will always be." I looked at Sis. Pollock and she looked at me and I shared my experience from the day before. "It's always going to be this way" was a lie that I believed that Satan was telling me, I had it written on my paper that was in my scriptures, so I pulled it out and we talked about everything I went through the day before. The Spirit was so strong and so amazing. We helped him to understand that it is through the savior that we can do all things and that nothing is too hard for the Lord. He's doing better and we are hoping for baptism in July still. Not the 13th but the 21st or the week after. Tomorrow's lesson is going to be setting a plan to get him to the waters of baptism!

Oh man! So the rest of the week went so well! Friday was the best day we have had in a long time! we went to teach these 9 year old boys, chase and Isaiah about prayer, they love to pray and get so excited to pray, they are on date for baptism on Aug. 31st! they are so cute, then later that day we went to see Cheryl one of our investigators who we tracted into last week, we taught her the restoration and extended baptism for aug. 17th and she accepted! we love it when this happens! :) then we went to see Steve, one of our investigators who's wife is a recent convert and he about dropped us that night, we finally understood how he was feeling and helped him to understand that if he reads and prays he will not feel that way anymore and so he agreed to keep meeting with us and we have an other lesson with him this week! We then got out of there and got a referral from the mission pres. of Columbia south carolina mission. his nephew used to be FLDS and got kicked out for fooling around with his girlfriend, they got caught on friday, got married on monday and they got kicked out with 500$ on tuesday. they've been on their own ever since. It's so cool to teach them because they already know alot about the basics becasue they teach alot of the same things! they leave out some of the truth but it's still the Book of Mormon and Joseph smith and stuff! It is awesome! they want to be baptized so bad! I love them! that was so cool!
Sunday we had 5 out of the 7 people at church that we invited! it was the bomb! and even some less actives that we didn't invite showed up! It is so awesome! :)
Life is great here in the great Ohio! :) OH MAN!!!

I will leave you with my new favorite scripture 1 Cor. 15:10 By the grace of God I am who I am... look the whole thing up and read it, it got me through a lot this week! :)

I'm so glad grandpa loved his purse! It made me laugh so hard to think about his reaction! I can't wait to get his letter! :)

Love you! :)
